Getting the support I need

Stoke-on-Trent Adult Social Care views all of our residents as unique individuals who have strengths, assets, gifts and talents. As a result, we have developed a Community Led Support approach to support people to live more independent and fulfilled lives within their local communities.

We will:

• Have conversations and develop relationships with residents to better understand what you can do, rather than what you can't do.

• Develop help in the community by working together with groups and organisations, supporting them to support you.

• Develop and embrace new ways of working by allowing and supporting our workforce to be creative in providing support.

You can access our Community Directory using the button below. This directory can be accessed at any time and aims to help you to identify the support you may need and link you into possible resources in your local area.  

If you feel that you may require some equipment within your home you can access an online support tool, AskSara, by clicking on the button below which will, based upon your answers recommend possible equipment options and where these can be purchased.
